about

kaitlyn Kotala

Registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Director, MACP, BA
  • I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach, so together we can decide what works for you using different modalities to support your needs and therapeutic goals.

“I like to think of therapy as a journey and treatment planning as a map: we have a destination we want to get to (main therapeutic goals), but we may come across a few side quests that we need to work through first while on our journey (daily stressors & new unexpected challenges.)”

  • My services prioritize flexibility and comfort so I offer a hybrid model of therapy services to meet clients where they’re at, whether it’s in the office, virtually, or outdoors.

  • I love combining the therapeutic properties of nature and the arts with the psyche.

  • I offer LGBTQ2SIA+ and neurodiversity affirming care.

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

  • I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Lakehead University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
