Therapeutic Approach

“The most important relationship we have is with ourselves, and sometimes that relationship can be the most challenging to navigate. My approach to therapy focuses on exploring identity, identifying needs, building self-compassion, and making meaning from life experiences".”

Round Table Healing takes a trauma-informed approach to therapy, focusing on ways to implement therapeutic interventions within the context of your background.

We work collaboratively with clients to support the sharing of their lived experiences. We offer a compassionate and validating approach to build and strengthen the therapeutic relationship. We believe in the importance of using an integrative approach that prioritizes you!

We primarily use talk therapy rooted in a Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach. We use elements from Relational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
